၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် ဧပြီလ ၉ ရက်နေ့မှ စတင်၍ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ်များမှ ပြည်တွင်းနှင့် ပြည်ပထွက်ခွာမည့် ခရီးစဉ်များအားလုံးအတွက် သက်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ်အာဏာပိုင်များမှ ခရီးသည်အချက်အလက် စစ်ဆေးမှုများကို တိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

2️⃣ Check-in ကောင်တာ၌ Check-in ပြုလုပ်ရာတွင် မှတ်ပုံတင် အချက်အလက်စစ်ဆေးမှုများ အသေးစိတ်ပြုလုပ်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

၉ ဧပြီ ၂၀၂၆ မှစ၍ လေယာဉ်စီး ခရီးသည်များအားလုံး (ပြည်တွင်း/ပြည်ပ) လေဆိပ် (ရန်ကုန်/မန္တလေး) သို့ မှတ်ပုံတင် သို့မဟုတ် UID ယူဆောင်သွားရပါမည် ။

Please be informed that starting 9th April 2026, all Myanmar passengers are required to present their physical NRC card or UID card at the airport police counter. As this directive comes from the State Authority, kindly advise your guests to bring their NRC or UID card along with all other travel documents for presentation at the airport.

Due to the ongoing shortage of Jet A1 fuel in Myanmar, MAI has no choice but to limit the baggage allowance on our international flights to ensure we can continue operating our flights without interruptions or cancellations, as we have experienced in the domestic market.

Hence, MAI will implement temporary baggage revision on all international flights with immediate effect until further notice:
• Economy Class: 20KG (limited to 1 piece)
• Business Class: 30KG (limited to 1 piece)
• Hand-carry: 7KG (limited to 2 pieces)
• Excess Baggage: Max 5KG
• Remarks: Extra baggage acceptance will be strictly determined by our airport team.

We would also like to inform you that MAI may offload any baggage or deny any non-compliant baggage at the airport. MAI will do its utmost to deliver the offloaded baggage to its rightful owner within 72 hours. MAI will also refund passengers who have already purchased any excess baggage, as we are unable to carry them for the time being.

We want to reassure our guests that we did all we could, but we were faced with only two options: either operate our international flights as scheduled, or cancel them completely, which could affect thousands of passengers already planning their trips with MAI across our network.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, this is our only option until conditions improve in our home country, Myanmar.

Thai Airways Reveals A321neo Cabin with Lie-Flat Business Class and Modern Economy Seating

Thai Airways has officially introduced the cabin of its new Airbus A321neo, bringing a widebody-style experience to its short and medium-haul network.

The new aircraft features a two-class layout with 175 seats, including 16 Royal Silk Business Class seats and 159 Economy Class seats. Business Class is the standout, offering fully lie-flat seats in a staggered configuration, including highly sought-after single “throne” seats that provide extra space and privacy, a rare feature on a narrow body aircraft.

Economy Class is fitted with new-generation Recaro seats, designed for improved ergonomics and comfort, complete with adjustable headrests and personal in-flight entertainment screens. USB power is available throughout the cabin, ensuring passengers stay connected on regional journeys.
