Glad to hear that EU will allow fully vaccinated tourists from United States.

Tourism News Update from Ministry of Hotels and Tourism in Myanmar
We would like to inform domestic and international travellers about the current travel situation in Myanmar with actual information and useful links to relevant information.
While Myanmar is opening for domestic travel, incoming international travellers are not allowed until December 31!

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ လေကြောင်းပို့ဆောင်ရေးညွှန်ကြားမှုဦးစီးဌာန၏ ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ်၊ နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၉ ရက်နေ့ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အရ ရန်ကုန်အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ်၌ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာခရီးသည်တင်လေယာဉ်များ ပျံသန်းပြေးဆွဲခွင့်ကန့်သတ်ချက်များကို ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၃၁ ရက်နေ့၊ မြန်မာစံတော်ချိန် ၂၃၅၉နာရီအထိ ထပ်မံတိုးမြှင့်လိုက်သည်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်း COVID-19 ရောဂါ ကူးစက်ပြန့်ပွားမှုကို ထိရောက်စွာထိန်းချုပ်နိုင်ရန် ရန်ကုန်အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ လေဆိပ်တွင် ပျံသန်းပြေးဆွဲပေးနေ‌သော အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေကြောင်းခရီးစဉ်များ ပျံသန်းပြေးဆွဲခွင့် ရပ်ဆိုင်းခြင်းကာလကို ထပ်မံတိုးမြှင့်ရန် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ COVID-19 ကာကွယ်၊ ထိန်းချုပ်၊ ကုသရေးဆိုင်ရာ ဗဟိုကော်မတီမှ သဘောတူ ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Withdrawing Health Check-ups at City Entrances and Exits

1. The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism has been implementing plans for tourism development, and plans to ensure security, safety and convenience of international visitors traveling in Myanmar.

2. As stated by the National- Level Central Committee for Prevention, Control, and Treatment of Covid-19, the guideline for withdrawing health check-ups at City Gates of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States has stressed on ensuring to get the notice of tour companies, tour guides and all tourism stakeholders in serving the domestic travellers.
