The second annual Thandaung Gyi Mountain Run was successfully held on the 23rd of February 2019. We are so astoundingly proud to announce the results of the TDGMR 2019. There were 65 runners who took part from 12 countries including Myanmar.

We heartily acknowledge the support and sponsorship gifts from Hanns Seidel Foundation, PeaceNexus, Amazing Grace Souvenirs Shop and Universal Fitness Club.

A big congrats to Nigel Klein for his second year of the King of the Mountain and Masako Nakamura for the new Queen of the Mountain for 2019 and all the runners/walkers as well. We do appreciate you all for your active participation.

23 km Male:

1st Place : Nigel Klein (Australian) - 2:12:57
2nd Place: Markus Buerli (Swiss) - 2:18:10
3rd Place: Kyaw Thu Han (Myanmar) - 2:29:00

23 km Female:

1st Place: Masako Nakamura (Japanese) - 2:21:06
2nd Place: Thae Thae Khaing (Myanmar) - 2:30:00
3rd Place: Jessie Goldie (Australian) - 2:34:00

With the collaboration and cooperation of Thandaung Gyi Tourism Development and Working Group, Hanns Seidel Foundation Myanmar, Myanmar Responsible Tourism Institute, and PeaceNexus, TDGMR 2019 was a huge success. We had more national runners than the last year. The runners came and participated from Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, Rakkine, also from Thandaung Gyi and its vicinity. This was the very first experience for the host community members taking part in this kind of international running event.

Our special thanks goes to Ishwar Persad (Co-founder of Thandaung Gyi Mountain Run) for his wonderful support since last year. Also our sincere thanks goes to the organizer team and the host community from Thandaung Gyi.

ဒုတိယအၾကိမ္ေျမာက္ သံေတာင္ၾကီး မာရသြန္ တစ္၀က္ေက ်ာ္ တာေ၀းအေျပးျပိဳင္ပြဲၾကီး (၂၃ ကီလိုမီတာ) ကို ၂၃ ရက္ေန႕၊ ေဖေဖာ ္၀ါရီလ၊ ၂၀၁၉ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ က ်င္းပျပဳလုပ္မည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။

⛰⛰⛰ သံေတာင္ၾကီးျမိဳ႕သည္ ေတာင္ငူျမိဳ႕မွ ၂၅ မိုင္အကြာတြင္ တည္ရွိျပီး အလြန္ေအးခ ်မ္းသာယာကာ တိတ္ဆိတ္ျငိမ္သက္ျပီး သဘာ၀ရွုခင္းအလွအပမ ်ားႏွင့္ ျပည့္စံုေသာ ေတာင္ေပၚစခန္းျမိဳ႕ေလး ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ ⛰⛰⛰

၂၃ ကီလိုမီတာ ေျပးလမ္းတစ္ေလွ ်ာက္ သဘာ၀အလွတရားမ ်ားကို ခံစားယင္း ေျပးၾကရမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။

မွတ္ပံုတင္ေၾကးမွ ၁၀၀၀၀ က ်ပ္ကို သံေတာင္ၾကီး ေဒသ ခရီးသြားဖြံ႕ျဖိဳးေရးအတြက္ ပါ၀င္လွဴဒါန္းသြားမည္ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
ဇန္န၀ါရီလ ၃၁ ရက္ ေနာက္ဆံုးထားျပီး မွတ္ပံုတင္ေၾကးမ ်ားေပးသြင္းနိုင္ပါသည္။
