Horsetrails is a mongolian tourism agency founded in 2006 by three Mongolia-loving friends, who wanted to share their passion for mongolian people, horses, landscapes and nomadic lifestyle. First of all we love the place, the Khangai mountains, the Orhon valley and the surounding steppe, secondly because we wanted to be close to the horses (our own horses) and last but not least because we wanted
to allow few nomadic families to live better without changing their traditional lifestyle. There are company horses, we chose them, grew them, trained them, breed them and we love them. We know our horses well and that helps us when the time comes to choose one for you to ride. It sounds normal and to us it feels natural, but you would be surprised to learn that most of agencies that proposes horse-riding trip in Mongolia have never seen the horses you would be riding.
