🚉 Tunkh Station → Ulaanbaatar

🌙 Night train: 02:50 – 06:15

🛏️ Dormitory / Shared Room — 110,000 MNT per person
🏕️ Yurt Stay with a Local Family — 110,000 MNT
🏡 Private Cabin — 150,000 MNT for up to 2 people
🚐 Free train station pickup and drop-off in daylight hours are included in the accommodation price. Please arrange your arrival time with us in advance. Nighttime transfers should be confirmed separately.

🗺️ 5. WHERE TO TRAVEL NEXT FROM TUNKHEL
🏯 OPTION A: Erdenet & Amarbayasgalant Monastery
🚂 Take the evening train from Tunkh at 22:10, arriving in Erdenet at approximately 07:50 the following morning.
🚙 Arrange a private jeep for a day trip to Amarbayasgalant Monastery, one of Mongolia's important Buddhist monasteries, and explore the surrounding countryside.
🌙 Return to Ulaanbaatar by night train, subject to the available schedule and connections.
Private jeep, sightseeing, and onward train tickets can be arranged on request.
🇷🇺 OPTION B: Sukhbaatar, Khiagt & the Russian Border Region
🚂 Take the train the following day at 12:58 toward Sukhbaatar, the border city near Russia, arriving at approximately 18:50.
🏨 Stay overnight in Sukhbaatar.
🚙 The next day, arrange a private sightseeing tour to explore the surrounding forests, Khiagt, and nearby areas.
After your tour, you may:
🚂 Return to Ulaanbaatar by train, subject to the timetable; or
🇷🇺 Continue your journey toward Russia, subject to border-crossing requirements, visa rules, and train availability.
