The Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex is one of the most famous landmarks in Mongolia and the largest equestrian statue in the world.
Height of statue: about 40 meters (131 feet)
Total height with base: about 50 meters (164 feet)
Made from: stainless steel

Location: Tsonjin Boldog, around 54 km east of Ulaanbaatar

The statue depicts Genghis Khan (also spelled Chinggis Khaan), founder of the Mongol Empire.

Visa requirements to Mongolia

Visa-Free Access (2023–2026): Citizens from over 30 countries (including the UK, many European nations) can visit for up to 30 days without a visa for tourism or transit.
e-Visa System: Many other nationalities can apply for a K2 (tourist) or K4 (event) e-Visa, usually allowing a 30-day stay.

Documentation: For e-Visas, you must provide a passport scan (6+ months validity), hotel/flight bookings, and travel insurance.

Processing Time: E-Visas are generally processed within 72 hours, though it is recommended to apply in advance.

Registration: Visitors staying over 30 days must register with the Mongolian Immigration Agency.
