3. Цоохор ирвэс “Улаан ном”-д орсон дархан цаазтай амьтан, агнах хориотой.
4. Цоохор ирвэс хад асгатай өндөр ууланд амьдардаг.
5. Нутгийн иргэд цоохор ирвэсийг “Өндөр уулын эзэн” гэж авгайлдаг.
6. Биеийн урт 103-130 см, жин 23-41 кг.
7. Цоохор ирвэс нь 14 метр хүртэл хол үсрэх чадвартай.
8. Цоохор ирвэс 10-13 насалдаг.
