14 DAYS TOUR- BEST OF MONGOLIA

Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar. Check-in to the hotel. City tour including the Sukhbaatar Squire, Gandan monastery and the National History Museum. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Kharakorum, the ancient capital of Mongolian Empire. Visit Erdenezuu Monastery, the largest Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia, with 108 stupas, from the 16th Century. Overnight at a ger camp.
Day 3: Visit the monument of Great Khans of Mongolian Empire and the Turtle Rock from the 13th century. Drive to Ugiinuur and visit Har Balgas, the ruins of a city of the Uighur Empire (745-840). Drive to Tsenkher hot spring. Overnight at a ger camp.
Day 4: Drive to Khorgo Volcano, which is a dead volcano covered with basalt lying in the east of the Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan (National Park). The next attraction place here is the Taikhar Rock, an enormous rock with many local legends of a great hero. Stay two nights at a ger camp. It is possible here to visit yak herders. Horse riding and fishing are optional.
Day 6: Drive to Lake Khuvsgul through Murun. Lake Khuvsgul is Mongolia's largest and deepest lake. Taiga fauna and flora, and the Tsaatan people, who herd reindeers in the taiga, are the main attractions for tourists. Overnight at the Khangarid ger camp by the Khuvsgul lake.
Day 7: Visit Reindeer herders and Shaman’s house near the Blue Pearl Tourist Camp. You are free at leisure for hiking and boating. Fishing is optional. Overnight at a ger camp.
Day 8: Drive back Khangarid camp and overnight at the camp. You are free at leisure.
Day 9: Drive to Bulgan ger camp. Enjoy the beauty of the Khangai nature. Overnight at the ger camp.
Day 10: Visit the Amarbayasgalant monastery, built in the 18th century and was restored in 1992. This is one of the three largest monasteries in Mongolia. Stay two nights at a ger camp nearby the monastery.
Day 12: Drive to Ulaanbaatar and check-in to the hotel. You are free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 13: Next destination is the Terelj National Park, located not far from Ulaanbaatar. This is the most visited natural tourist sight and is a popular place for trekking and horse riding. Here you will also visit the Turtle Rock, a huge rock formation and the Ariaybala Temple. Overnight at a ger camp.
Day 14: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and check-in to the hotel. Visit the Natural History Museum. Shopping at the State Department store. A cultural Show at the National Folk and Dance Ensemble in the evening.
Day 15: Departure.

NOMADIC TOUR – 4 DAYS

Destination: Ulaanbaatar-Bayangobi-Kharkhorin-Hustai National Park.

Tours and Sightseeing:

Day 1. Drive to Bayangobi. Visit sand dunes and ride camels. Visit a nomadic family and get introduced to the nomadic way of life/have some dairy products. Visit Uvgunhiid monastery and enjoy the beautiful scenery around. Stay over at a ger camp. Meals/ B.L.D/
Day 2. Drive to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of Mongolia. Visit the Erdenezuu monastery which was built in 1586. Visit the History Museum and the Kings monument.

Day 3. Drive to Hustai National Park. Visit the National Park Information Center and see the wild horses and red deers. Stay over at a ger camp. Meals/B.L.D/
Day 4. Drive back to the city Ulaanbaatar. Visit local cashmere shops and the cashmere factory. Check into the hotel.

Destination: Ulaanbaatar-Terelj National Park- Chinggis Khaan Statue- Ulaanbaatar

Tours and Sightseeing:
• Drive to the Chinggis Khaan’s Statue Complex in Tsonjin Boldog which is about 70 km from the city Ulaanbaatar.
• Drive to the Terelj National Park ( 40 km ).This is the most visited natural tourist sight and is a popular place for trekking and horse riding. Here you will also visit the Turtle Rock, a huge rock formation and the Ariaybala Temple. After having lunch at a ger camp, visit a nomadic family and taste some milk dairy products. Horse riding for an hour.
