Sardinia might have found the secret to eternal youth 🤫 This island is home to one of the world’s highest concentrations of centenarians (people who live past 100).

Take La Maddalena for example, an archipelago of untouched beauty with crystal clear waters, the freshest Mediterranean cuisine, and a slow way of life. If I lived in a place like this, I’d probably live forever too!

What’s the true masterpiece of Baroque architecture?

In Lecce, the answer is clear! The entire city is filled with architectural marvels. Lecce stone (or Leccisu in the local dialect) is a limestone formed millions of years ago. In the 1500’s sculptors and architects from Salento used this stone to create these Baroque treasures.

While great works of art may no longer be created as frequently, we can still admire Lecce’s incredible art, history, and culture!

A tiny country with a big personality!

Imagine driving through Italy.. and suddenly you’re in a completely different country! That’s San Marino, the world’s oldest republic founded in 301 AD and it has stayed independent for over 1,700 years so don’t mistake it for just another Italian hilltop town because it’s 100% its own nation!

It even has its own tv network, football league, and even Euro coins. And let’s not forget it’s medieval charm. San Marino has three iconic towers that stand as proud symbols of its past.

Next time you’re in Italy, take a detour because you can visit an entire country before lunch!
