Ramla Valley. A Family Run Cottage industry producing one of the finest EVOO's on the islands Our EVOO is a robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Ramla Valley is a family run country estate situated in the fertile valley of Ramla l-Hamra bay in Nadur on the island of Gozo, Malta. Our family has been working these fields from one generation to another for many years infact this is the 7th generation . Till this very day, we cultivate the fields in a traditional way being careful to work hand in hand with nature. We produce a variety of local
artisan products known for their distinct flavour and character due to the quality of sandy soils found in the valley. At Ramla Valley we produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) from our groves and other homemade delicacies from the products in our fields. It is harvested by hand with the use of pneumatic combs. We take care that all the olives are cold pressed in our own olive mill on the same day of collection solely by mechanical means. This ensures the fragrant aroma and rich taste of 100 per cent unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Our EVOO flavour notes of grass, artichoke and green apple with a peppery finish. Here at Ramla Valley, we take care to give our customers top quality EVOO and this has been awarded by a silver medal at D-IOOC 2016, a certificate of excellence by Ulivita International in 2017, a Gold medal at EVO~IOOC 2018, a Bronze Medal at London-IOOC 2018, a Silver medal @ EVO~IOOC 2020, a Silver medal @ EVO~IOOC 2023, and a Silver medal @ EVO~IOOC 2024 . Our oil has also been reviewed on D~IOOC International EVOO Guide 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2020/2021, 2023/2024, 2025 together with other world renowned extra virgin olive oils. In 2020/2021 and 2024/2025 we have been recognized by Evoo World Ranking as Best Evoo and Best Evoo Society of Malta 2020/2021 and 2024/2025. Apart from our International Award winning EVOO, we also produce aromatic extra virgin olive oils which include Basil, Chili, Rosemary, Garlic, Lemon, and Bay leaf. We have a selection of other traditional homemade delicacies such as honey, carob syrup, homemade jams, local olives, capers, Traditional Gozo Kunserva, sundried tomatoes, as well as seasonal fruits especially sweet oranges and veg from our groves and fields. 🌿 Kaolin Clay @ Ramla Valley 🌿
This is our 7th year using Kaolin clay — not just on our olives, but on all our fruit trees 🫒🍑🍊🍋
This natural, organic clay forms a protective layer that helps keep pests like the olive fruit fly away 🪰 and gives the fruit some shade from the summer sun 🌞
It’s completely safe and lets us care for our trees in a way that respects the land and works with nature 💚
Happy Feast to all! 🎉 Wishing everyone in our village Nadur a joyful Festa of Imnarja, as we celebrate our beloved patrons, St. Peter and St. Paul. Viva ż-żewġ! Viva l-Imnarja! ❤️💛🇲🇹

✨Today we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of young students from our village school who experienced the journey of olive oil—from the grove to the bottle. They enjoyed a tasting session, and explored the rich flora and fauna of our surroundings.
Let us teach them young to appreciate nature, good food, and the traditions that connect us to the land. An experience filled with discovery, learning, and joy!🫒🐝🌿💚🇲🇹
