Traditional cruises onboard an authentic Maltese ‘Luzzu’
The boat can accommodate 36 people and is fully equipped with a Toilet, Fridge for cold drinks & refreshments, a canopy shade and a ladder which it easier for you to get out or get in the sea. The trip begins around the harbour, viewing St Pauls Bay, then onto Xemxija Cave- where the Luzzu will enter the cave, Xemxija Bay is the following sp
ot- where you can see the fishing boats that are used for Tuna. The Luzzu will then enter Selmun Cave before going onto Selmun Bay. We then stop on The Island Of St Pauls for 30 minutes, where one can have a walk and visit the statue of St Paul’s, admire the breath taking views of the Northern Maltese Coast or one can simply relax sunbathing or swimming. Passengers have the option to stay on the Island for 2 or 4 hours and comeback on the next or the last trip at no extra charge. On our return trip we cruise along side the biggest Tuna farm in Malta, we pass Qwara Bay and then cruise along from Buggiba Square back to Buggiba Jetty, where the Luzzu berths. Fancy deep-sea fishing at 50m, 6miles off-shore? Well the Luzzu has this available at just 40euros with everything included. The captain will take you out 6 miles from the shore and let you enjoy catching some of Malta's finest fish. The times for the fishing are as follows;
Monday-Friday (am) 07:00-10:30
Monday-Friday (pm) 17:00-20:30
Saturday&Sunday (pm) 15:30-19:00
Private Charters are also available onboard the Luzzu; we can accommodate 35 people. Charters are ideal for diving groups, large family groups or simply for a little group of people who want to relax on their own. Departure is upon request, the captain is happy to accommodate on location of pick up. We can take you wherever you want; be it Comino, Gozo or some of the Maltese secluded beaches.
