We are seeking a barman to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
The chosen applicant will be working on a passenger boat that visits the Blue Lagoon, and therefore they will also be required to perform the duties of a deckhand.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement and growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wine
* Maintain an orderly bar and keep it clean
* Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies when necessary
* Assist in creating new cocktail recipes and developing menus
* Provide excellent customer service, build relationships with regular customers, and handle customer complaints
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately
* Assist with the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
* Handle lines and rigging during docking and undocking
* Assist with loading and unloading of cargo and supplies
* Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a barman is preferable but not required.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Must be over 18 years old and have a valid work permit
* Full deckhand training will be provided.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
