Your pilgrimage begins on Thursday, September 11, with a morning flight from Malta to Perugia, followed by a transfer to Assisi and a visit to the Basilica of St. Francis, concluding with Mass and dinner at the Monastero di San Giuseppe. On Friday, you'll explore the Hermitage of St. Francis, San Damiano, and the Porziuncola, experiencing moments of reflection, prayer, and Eucharistic celebration. Saturday focuses on the saints of Assisi, including Blessed Carlo Acutis and St. Clare, with visits to several sacred sites and the option to hike to Rocca Maggiore. Sunday starts with Mass and offers an optional visit to the charming town of Spello and Marmone Waterfall, followed by leisure time in Assisi. On Monday, September 15, you’ll travel to Rome to partake in the Jubilee of Consolation, culminating with a Prayer Vigil before flying back to Malta that evening.

Travel to Nicaea, the site of the First Ecumenical Council, and Pergamon, known for its Acropolis and the Altar of Zeus. Continue to Sardis, a wealthy city and one of the Seven Churches, and Philadelphia, commended in Revelation for its steadfast faith. In Laodicea, walk amidst the ruins of a city rebuked for spiritual luke warmness and home to the first basilica built after the Edict of Milan.

Explore the natural beauty of Pamukkale and Hierapolis, where the tomb of Apostle Philip stands. Journey through Miletus, Didyma, and Priene, significant for early Christian evangelism. In Ephesus, visit the House of Mary and the Basilica of St. John, marking the apostle’s final resting place, and explore the city praised for its endurance but admonished for losing its first love. Thyatira, renowned for its textile industry, completes the tour of the Seven Churches.

Return to Istanbul for moments of reflection at St. Anthony’s Basilica, the Chora Monastery, and the Patriarchate of Constantinople. Guided by Rev. Embark on a spiritual journey to Lourdes, a revered pilgrimage site known for the Marian apparitions of 1858. The trip begins with a flight from Malta to Toulouse, followed by a transfer to the hotel in Lourdes. Upon arrival, pilgrims settle in, preparing for days of prayer and reflection.
The itinerary centres on the Lourdes Sanctuary, with visits to the Massabielle Grotto, the sacred site where the Virgin Mary appeared to St. Bernadette. Pilgrims can attend the International Mass at the Underground Basilica of St. Pius X and participate in the Rosary and Eucharistic Procession. Evenings are illuminated by the moving Torchlight Procession, a shared moment of prayer and solidarity with fellow pilgrims.
Explore the historical sanctuaries, including the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Rosary Basilica, and Crypt.
