Get ready to gain critical, life-saving skills for the wilderness! Our 3rd Batch of the Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course is happening from June 25th to June 28th, 2025, right here at 7 Cascades, Mauritius! 🏞️

This intensive, hands-on training is designed to equip you for real-life scenarios in outdoor environments. More than 50% of the course time will be practical sessions, taking place outdoors—so be ready to get warm or wet!

Why should you join?

Gain essential skills to handle emergencies in remote areas.
The course meets ARETA guidelines and is a prerequisite for a Tourism Authority hiking guide permit.
It also meets WMA 2019 guidelines.
Our course facility at 7 Cascades, though rustic, is fully equipped with everything you'll need for effective training, including a cold fridge, washroom facilities, and a kitchenette.

🌿🏕 Wilderness First Aid in Action! 🏕🌿

Last week, we successfully ran our first Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course for the ARETA hiking guides! 🚑✨

From mastering field patient assessment systems to treating fractures, our students trained hard for four intensive days—pushing their skills to the limit. 💪🔥

The final practical assessment took place under heavy rain, making it as real as it gets! 🌧️⛰️ Because in the wild, first aid doesn’t wait for perfect conditions.

Huge respect to all participants for their dedication and resilience! 👏👏 Stay safe, stay prepared, and see you on the trails! 🌍🌲
