Tourists often wonder if beaches are not safe due to heavy swells.

Partially-lighted house 🏡 for one of the most cheerful ✨ and animated festivals in Mauritius island
🇲🇺.... DIWALI or originally known as Deepavali.. 🪔🪔🪔

Lots of cleaning and washing carried out, to make our yards and houses clean before D-day, when the famous earth lamp start to glow with some oil and a simple wick in the evening, lasting a whole night 🌃 🌟.
Nowadays, we have less lamps made of earth for Diwali but this tradition still subsist. 🌟Thus, more electric lamps arranged in long tube-like series are displayed in various colours.

Happy Happy Diwali...🙏

Diwali originated from India and is one of most ancient commemorations, symbolizing Victory ✌️ of light over darkness, epitomized by the return of Prince Rama to his kingdom in sacred Ayodhya, after defeating Ravanna in Sri Lanka..
