Pain of leaving the kaaba 🌹
Here’s a more heartfelt and emotional moment that captures the pain of leaving Makkah while looking forward to see Madinah Shareef.
Today our group leaves Makkah for Madinah Shareef, the beloved city of Rasulullah ﷺ.
After spending seven blessed days in Makkah, it is impossible to leave without tears. Saying Assalamu Alaiki Ya Makkah is never easy. This is the city where every day begins and ends with the sight of the blessed Ka’bah Shareef, where every prayer brings peace to the heart, and where every step reminds you that you are standing in the most beloved place on earth.
In Masjid Al-Haram, the notion of time disappears. You forget the hours, the days, and even the world around you. Your heart becomes attached only to Allah ﷻ, and every moment is filled with worship, gratitude, and countless du’as.
The best memory we will carry forever is Fajr in front of the Ka’bah—the peaceful silence before dawn, the beautiful Tahajjud adhan echoing through the Haram at around 3:20 a.m, the birds circling above the Ka’bah glorifying our Lord, and the gentle cats resting peacefully in every corner of the Haram. These are moments that words can never truly describe.
Makkah is not just a city you visit. It is a place that captures your soul. When you leave, a part of your heart remains behind, longing for the day Allah ﷻ will call you back again. The last dua coming from the heart on the final glimpse of the kaaba is “Ya Rabbana, call us again to you holy house soon,”
Now we continue our blessed journey to Madinah Shareef, the radiant city of our beloved Rasulullah ﷺ. With tears in our eyes as we leave Makkah, our hearts are filled with joy knowing that we are about to stand in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and send our salām.
May Allah ﷻ accept the Umrah of every Hujjaj, forgive our shortcomings, and invite us, our families, and every longing heart to His Sacred House again and again. Ameen.
