Planning a hike, boat trip or private tour in Mauritius? Before you book based on price alone, take a few minutes to check who you’re actually booking with.

Not everyone offering tours in Mauritius is licensed or insured. A professional-looking Instagram page, branded vehicle or thousands of followers doesn’t necessarily mean a business is legally authorised to operate.

So how can you tell the difference?

At Tamarind Falls we don't walk past the waterfalls — we abseil down them.

Three and a half hours inside the 7 Waterfalls canyon: harness and helmet on, a full safety briefing, then a series of rappels down wet basalt, natural slides carved by the water itself, and swims across clear pools. 🌊

We run it six guests to one guide. Our guides are trained in mountaineering and rope technique, and they talk you through every section — that's what makes a technical day a safe one instead of a scary one.
