Rented a car from Speedy Travels & Tours Mauritius back in January.
The service was outstanding, delivery and pick up from the airport was on time without any hassle.
The car itself was very good , clean and up to a high standard.
I would highly recommend and use them again

Short advice while holidaying in Mauritius:
Do not buy goods , foods or things from street vendors who does not advertise their prices or have a price list.
If you do then you most probably you’ll pay “Tourist Prices” which are usually more expensive from the actual prices (up to x 10 or more ) as most tourist don’t understand the value of Mauritian rupee.
And make sure you ask for prices of items and goods before buying as in Mauritius the return policy is almost non existent 😊

Short advice if you are travelling to Mauritius of planning to.
Many tourists get scammed by scammers posing as tour operators, so this is a quick advice to protect yourselves.
If you are planning to do any activities or tours not provided by your hotel then I would recommend to make any payments for these bookings in person on site and on the day.
If they insist on online payment or deposits please look somewhere else as these might be scammers and if you make advance payments there are other factors like weather (cyclones) which might make you lose your money so make sure they specify what will happen if your deposit or prepayment in these circumstances.
If you are unlucky to have a cyclone during your visit then most probably you won’t be able to do any outside visits or activities.
That’s why my advise is to make payment on the day in person before you’re excursion and if ever you make a deposit make sure you get a receipt with stamp 😊
