📍🇺🇸 LAS VEGAS 🇺🇸 When the Backstreet Boys announced a tour at the Sphere, of course I was going! I spent 3 days travelling to have 3 nights on the ground!

Anyone who tells you USA is difficult, needs to go again! It took just ONE HOUR from the minute I stepped off my international flight until I was in the boarding gate for my domestic flight! That’s through immigration (MPC is the new MVP here!), bags collected and dropped back again (even that is not always needed now), walked to Terminal 7 and back through security!

I love the accessibility of Vegas, the casinos (and therefore resorts) all connect, there is a monorail, a bus system and the overpasses make it beyond easy to cross roads and wander the strip! From the back streets of NY, the twinkling lights on the Eiffel Tower to the canals of The Ventian, Las Vegas really does have it all!!

And as for the Sphere, you must go here! It’s like a rollercoaster going on around you! Truly incredible!

Good luck to everyone competing this weekend in Melbourne for the much awaited Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation (AASCF) Nationals!

Another big shout out to Novotel South Wharf for housing so many of my coach, athlete and family clients!

And of course Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) for hosting such a huge weekend!!

A dream come true! There is not a single filter on any of these photos! It is pure beauty! 📸

From the crystal clear water, the comfy bed, the beautiful staff and the delicious food! Everything is perfection! 🧘‍♀️

Although there are no direct flights, it’s just a short connection from Colombo, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur to the picture perfect airport of Male! From there, a speedboat or a sea plane will take you to paradise!

There are so many islands and resorts to suit all holiday styles and budgets! But when sent through a 55% off promo, I knew I had to go!

I’m often asked the difference between Dallas Stockyards (Fortworth) and Dallas Downtown, so it was important for me on this trip to get a comparison! And I’m glad I did, as they are worlds apart!

We timed the end of our road trip to coincide with the famous State Fair of Texas 🎡🎠 Think our Royal Easter Show but with a “everything’s bigger in Texas” spin!

A visit to Klyde Warren Park: A 5.4-acre family friendly park built over the 8 lane Woodall Rodgers Freeway in downtown Dallas! Incredible!

Finally, possibly Downtown Dallas’ most famous story, the assassination of John F Kennedy in 1963. Visit the sixth floor museum, Dealey Plaza and the infamous X marked on the road 🙈

So the choice, if I had to make one, would be Fortworth for a real Taxes cowboy feel! However, “Por qué no los dos?” (Why not have both 🌮)

📍 MEMPHIS 🇺🇸📍 The home of Elvis Presley’s Graceland (& the gorgeous Peabody Ducks 🦆)

Beale St is the soul of this city! 3 blocks of pedestrian friendly shopping and food! Elvis sunglasses, records (old and new) and the best BBQ Feast of the trip at 🍖

An unexpected trip highlight for me was the ducks! Watch daily at 11am and 5:30pm as they waddle from the lift to their indoor pond and back (to their $200k private suite)! 🦆

Graceland was more impressive than I imagined! The house is in immaculate condition, his jet looks still ready to take off! And the car collection! Wow! Truly the heart of this city!

Topped off with a Mississippi River view from the .pro.pyramid 🔺

This is a trip highlight for me! I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’m not a huge country music fan. But I was impressed!

The city is walkable and interactive, it’s made to slow you down so you can take it all in! I don’t know another city where, in a 3 block radius, you have bars, restaurants, a stadium, museums, corporate buildings, parks, monuments and churches, all coexisting so well! 🌇🏟️

Broadway is FUN! It’s loud, neon and busy! But it’s clean and friendly too! The has an insane collection of past and present stars! ✨

Great views, great food and great outlets too 💸💸💸 () 🛍️

I guess it’s like they say “You either love Nashville, or you’re wrong” 🧡

📍 NEW ORLEANS 🇺🇸📍 This city has long been on my to go list! I was cautiously excited. I wasn’t sure how it would be after the pandemic and Katrina.

But it’s a VIBE! The buildings are stunning, the people are hilarious and the food is from heaven!! There’s art, smiles, music and so much culture! 🎶

There’s SO much more the New Orleans than Bourbon St!

A Museum Mecca! Everything is lush and green and all so family friendly!

🚀 Space Centre! This exceeded my expectation! I was worried the kids would be bored and there’d almost be too much! But it’s as compact as they can make it, interactive and really fun! 🌙 🧑‍🚀

🦖 National Museum of Science! So many exhibitions under one roof! Again, super interactive! The dinosaur skeletons were what pulled us in, but the butterfly room left us all speechless! 🐛🦋

We now bid Texas farewell (for a while) and the adventure continues down south! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the small part of Texas that we visited! I can see why their state motto is simply “FRIENDSHIP”! 🫶🏻
