MULANJE PORTERS’ RACE 2025

On 12th July 2025, the famous Mulanje Porters’ Race took place once again at the foot of Malawi’s mighty Mulanje Mountain! This iconic 25km mountain race is one of Africa’s toughest and most scenic events, bringing together over 500 runners from across Malawi and beyond.

What started in 1996 as a friendly competition among local mountain porters and guides has grown into a national treasure—honoring the hardworking men and women who assist climbers and showcasing the breathtaking beauty of Mount Mulanje.

This year’s race is full of energy, determination, and celebration! Participants will run from Likhubula, climb to Chambe Basin, and return through rocky paths and lush forest trails. Beyond sport, the race promotes community pride, tourism, and conservation—with proceeds supporting environmental efforts and local livelihoods.

Zomba Plateau Day Hike Adventure Highlights!

What an amazing day it was on 28th June 2025 as we explored the breathtaking Zomba Plateau with a vibrant group of 35 adventurers!

Our hikers came from all corners of Malawi—Lilongwe, Blantyre, Zomba, Phalombe, Mzuzu—a beautiful mix of local citizens and Malawi residents. Together, we hiked through Zomba's natural wonders including:

✅ Mulumbe Peak (the highest point)
✅ Chingwe’s Hole
✅ Songani Lookout
✅ William Falls
✅ Queen’s View
✅ Emperor’s View
✅ Mulunguzi Dam

It was a full day of awe-inspiring views, fresh air, great company, and amazing moments. 💚
