From Cornwall to the Warm Heart of Africa 🇬🇧❤️🇲🇼

This May, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Germoe Community School on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition through Malawi — from exploring ancient rock art and spotting cheetahs in Liwonde, to boat safaris and football with local students ⚽🛶🐘

Led by teacher Katie Knight and guided by our expert team, this journey blended conservation, culture, and pure wonder — safely and seamlessly!

This week Amelia and Khama are representing Land and Lake Safaris at Indaba in Durban on the Malawi Tourism Stand.
Connecting with both the world of tourism coming into Africa and of course many of our favorite neighboring countries!

It’s fantastic to introduce our little Warm Heart to new companies promoting travel, as well as connecting with many of our friends that already promote Malawi to their guests!

Day 1 has been filled with success stories and connections across Africa and the globe and we can’t wait to see what day 2 brings - with Malawi hosting its own cocktail evening and celebrating home 💕

We learnt how to distinguish between these two similar-looking reptiles in Malawi during our first Conservation Chat of the year with Lee Furney all about snakes.

Our new addition to this years fleet is being modified this week to be able to accommodate a Fully Kitted Hire.
Complete with two roof top tents, refrigeration, rear battery and roller box system and all the trimmings.

Our office cat Arnold has been assigned inspection officer and keeping a close eye on the workshop to ensure standards are maintained.

Our workshop (and Arnold) also offer external vehicle repairs and modifications and this year we’ve worked on a wide range of specialized mechanical fixtures and adjustments.
