Tenochtitlan (1325-1521, Postclassic, Mexica)
A majestic island city, Tenochtitlan thrived with towering temples and intricate canals, showcasing the grandeur and ingenuity of the Mexica civilization. The city was built on a series of islets in Lake Texcoco and connected by causeways and canals, making it a unique and impressive example of urban planning and engineering!
Tlatelolco (1337-1521, Postclassic, Mexica)
As Tenochtitlan's bustling sister city, Tlatelolco was renowned for its immense marketplace, extensive ceremonial center, and prominent role in political and military affairs within the Mexica empire. Tlatelolco was home to the largest pre-Hispanic market in the Mexica empire, attracting thousands of people daily!
Teotihuacan (200 BCE - 650 CE, Classic, Teotihuacano)
A sprawling and influential urban center, Teotihuacan was distinguished by its monumental pyramids, broad avenues, and richly adorned murals, embodying the cultural and architectural brilliance of the Teotihuacano civilization. The step pyramids we see today were originally covered with stucco and painted in bright colors, making them even more majestic and visually striking!

🟢 Ecotour to an Amazing Firefly Sanctuary: At the feet of the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanoes in the State of Mexico. First, we will take a guided walk through the canyons and trails of the forest, and then we will experience the magic of the fireflies. From 11:45 to 23:45.
