📍 La Misión → Valle de Guadalupe
Most people know this road because of the wineries… 🍷
But very few know the history behind it.
Long before pavement, this route was used by Kumiai natives, ranchers, and Dominican missionaries traveling across northern Baja California.
Decades later, this road connection helped transform Valle de Guadalupe into Mexico’s wine capital, now producing around 70% of the country’s wine. 🍇
And maybe the most incredible part:
In less than an hour, you can go from the Pacific Ocean… to vineyards hidden between mountains and desert landscapes.
This isn’t just a road.
It’s part of Baja California’s history. 🚗🌊
