Longer days, warmer water and that feeling of chasing the swell with no rush at all.

Summer is one of Baja’s favorite seasons for surfers because south swells start lighting up the coast, especially around Southern Baja and the East Cape, making every road trip feel like it could end with the perfect session.

Gracias, por recordarnos algo que a veces damos por sentado: lo increíble que es México.
Por las calles llenas de emoción, las familias reunidas, los colores, los gritos, los abrazos y esa energía que solo se siente aquí.
Durante este Mundial no solo vimos partidos. Vimos a un país unirse, celebrar, sentir y volver a mirar con orgullo todo lo que somos.
México es fiesta, historia, paisajes, gente, sabor y corazón.
Y hoy, más que nunca, qué bonito es poder decir: qué hermoso es nuestro país.

Somewhere in this photo, there’s a Sampa and Baja didn’t notice.
That’s the thing about Baja: It just exists, massive, wild, and completely unbothered.
There’s something that happens when you finally feel small. Really small. Not in a scary way, in a relieving way. Like your problems scaled down with you and your brain finally stopped pretending it had to hold everything together. Scientists actually have a word for it: awe.

While the south melts in summer heat, Baja Norte stays cool.

Start in Tijuana. Drive into a pine forest at 9,000 feet, San Pedro Mártir, where astronomers built an observatory because the sky is that clear. Drop into a crater lake surrounded by boulders the size of houses. Hit the Pacific at San Quintín, where the bay turns silver at dusk and the oysters come straight from the water.

Then the desert takes over.
Cataviña. The boojum trees. The cardón cacti older than your country. Bahía de los Ángeles, a bay so still it looks painted. And on the way back, San Felipe, where the Sea of Cortez turns gold at sunrise and fishing boats leave before the tourists wake up.
