It was so fun to have my cousin Brandon and his lovely wife here visiting for a few days. We explored beautiful cenotes and spent a lot of time snorkeling a few reefs down near Tulum and here in Puerto. We had an amazing spear fishing trip yesterday! Cleaning the reef of invasive species at 130ft down. We saw a huge shark, a bunch of very old very big eagle rays, a giant Goliath grouper the size of a station wagon, and dolphins on the way home! 🐬🌊🐠After carefully cleaning the fish and removing the toxic spines I made a delicious Aguachiles de Pescado ceviche and a yummy soup!
