ATELIER Playa Mujeres… okay, I get the hype now.

I’ve toured A LOT of resorts over the years, but there’s something different about actually getting to stay somewhere for a few nights and experience it as a guest.
I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights at ATELIER Playa Mujeres, and I can officially say…

I’m obsessed.

Like… ATELIER has officially made its way to the TOP of my all-inclusive resort list.

And I think the 3-night stay is what really did it for me. I wasn’t just walking around taking pictures, touring rooms, and checking things off a list. I got to actually live the resort life for a few days.

I tried the restaurants.
I spent time at the pool.
I walked the beach.
I experienced the service.
I explored the property.
And, of course, I found plenty of time to just sit back and enjoy it.

And the whole resort just works.

It’s modern and beautiful without feeling cold. The food is GOOD. The service is incredible. The beach is gorgeous. And the overall atmosphere is upscale, relaxing, and just really easy to settle into.

You know those resorts where you arrive and immediately think, “Yep. I could stay here for a week and never get bored”?

This is one of those resorts for me.

And THIS is exactly why I love getting the opportunity to travel and tour resorts for my clients.

Because there’s a huge difference between reading about a resort online and being able to tell you:
“I stayed there. I ate there. I experienced it. And here’s who I think would absolutely LOVE it.”

✈️ Off to Cancun tomorrow! 🌴
Yes... I just got back from the USVI. 😂 But hey... work calls! 😉

One of my favorite hotel tours on St. John was Wharfside Village Boutique Hotel! 🤍

If you’re the type of traveler who wants to be in the middle of it all, this is a property you’ll definitely want to consider.

Located right in the heart of Cruz Bay, Wharfside Village is a beautiful boutique hotel with stunning Caribbean Modern design. There are some resorts that instantly make you stop, take a deep breath, and just soak it all in... and The Westin Frenchman's Reef is definitely one of them.

Perched high above the Caribbean Sea, this stunning resort offers breathtaking views overlooking Charlotte Amalie Harbor. Whether you're relaxing by one of the three gorgeous pools (all open 24 hours a day!), enjoying a cocktail at the lobby bar, or simply walking the property, you're surrounded by incredible scenery at every turn. The views alone are reason enough to stay here.

I also loved the variety throughout the resort. Different buildings offer different perspectives of the harbor and the sea, giving each stay its own unique feel. As amazing as this entire week has been exploring the U.S. Virgin Islands, today feels a little different.

We’re down to our last two full days, and today we’re heading back to the place that captured my heart more than 20 years ago...St. John.

Some places are beautiful. Others become a part of you. St. John has always been that place for me.

I still remember the feeling I had the first time I stepped off the ferry. Life just seemed to slow down. The people were so kind and welcoming, the beaches felt untouched, and there was a peacefulness that is hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it yourself. It wasn’t just a vacation destination—it became a place that always felt like home, no matter how much time had passed.

Over the years, I’ve thought about this island often and hoped I’d make it back someday. I can’t believe today is finally that day.

I’m excited to revisit some of my favorite spots, soak in those familiar views, and see how the island has changed while appreciating everything that has stayed the same.
It’s moments like these that remind me why I love travel so much. It’s not always about checking destinations off a list. Sometimes it’s about returning to the places that shaped you, brought you peace, and left a lasting imprint on your heart.

I have a feeling today is going to be one I’ll remember for a very long time. ❤️

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I love exploring destinations firsthand! 🌴

The amazing team at The Westin graciously hosted us on a half-day snorkel and Lime Out excursion, and it was definitely a highlight of our time in St. Thomas.

Our morning started with a stop at Brewer’s Bay, where we had about an hour to snorkel or simply enjoy the crystal-clear water. Brewer’s Bay is known for its incredible marine life, especially its resident sea turtles. While I opted to swim in the beautiful water, everyone who snorkeled came back talking about all the sea turtles, stingrays, and colorful tropical fish they saw!

From there, we made our way to one of St. Thomas’ most iconic experiences—Lime Out. If you’ve never heard of it, Lime Out is a floating taco bar located in the middle of the beautiful waters of Coral Bay. The catamaran anchors nearby, and you actually swim over to the floating restaurant and picnic tables to enjoy your meal! It’s such a unique experience and one that’s become a must-do when visiting the Virgin Islands.

The staff at Lime Out made the experience even more memorable. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kept everything running so smoothly. After spending some time relaxing in the water and soaking up the island vibes, we grabbed our delicious tacos and enjoyed them on the catamaran ride back. (Trust me...they lived up to the hype!)

On our way back to the resort, we cruised past downtown Charlotte Amalie and the impressive cruise ships docked in port, giving us some incredible views of the island from the water.

A huge shoutout to our wonderful catamaran crew, who made the entire excursion so much fun. Their kindness, hospitality, and attention to every guest truly made the day even more special.

If you’re planning a trip to St. Thomas, do yourself a favor and add this excursion to your itinerary. Between snorkeling with sea turtles, visiting the famous Lime Out, enjoying amazing tacos, and spending the day on the water, it’s an experience you absolutely don’t want to miss!
