As the sun sets on another incredibly busy week, I’m taking a minute to reflect on some of the random moments I’ve had in the last few weeks-as a Travel Advisor, seeing what I do come to life.

It is very easy to get caught up in the day to day “work” and tasks of this job, they are quite literally never ending, and as soon as one problem is solved 2 more seem to pop up! It is a “job” after all.

However, one thing that’s touched me in the last few weeks has seeing some of the impact that my “job” has on people’s lives. When people post about someone’s birthday, Mother’s Day, graduation, death or any significant moment-photos that are often used in those posts are from a vacation that they took. A frozen moment in time where all was well and they just were enjoying that persons presence in a different city or country.

When I started this company 9 years ago-it was about sharing and spreading my love of experience, exploration, and those frozen moments in time. Nine years in, and I get to do that every day. Thank you for everyone who has supported that mission, to everyone who celebrates or commemorates a moment with a photo from that trip they took that; it makes the tasks and work melt away & reminds me what a gift travel is for all of us.
