TRAVEL TIP: Don’t wait until your cruise to book your excursions!

One of my biggest cruise tips is to start watching your cruise line’s excursions well before you sail.

Cruise lines often run pre-cruise sales on excursions, so booking early can mean better pricing AND better availability—especially for the popular options that can sell out.

And here’s the best part: with many cruise lines, if you book an excursion and the price drops later, you can cancel it and rebook at the lower price. Always check your cruise line’s specific cancellation policy first!

Another reason I love booking excursions directly through the cruise line? Peace of mind.

If your cruise-line-sponsored excursion is delayed getting back to the ship, the cruise line knows where you are and will generally wait or make arrangements to get you back to the ship. That’s a big difference from exploring independently, where getting back before departure is ultimately your responsibility.

My advice: Book the excursions you really want early, keep an eye out for sales, and don’t assume waiting until you’re onboard will get you the best deal!

It’s been a little quiet over here lately!

Between fair week, family life, and starting a new job, posting and marketing definitely got pushed to the bottom of the list for a few weeks.

But behind the scenes, I’m still planning vacations, helping clients, and keeping up with all things travel — and I’m ready to get back to sharing more here too!

Fair week is almost here! 🐷🐑🤍

August 24–30, my office hours will look a little different while I’m at the fairgrounds supporting my daughter and soaking up one of our favorite weeks of the year.
I’ll still be checking in and working when I can, but please expect:

• 24–48 hours for responses
• A little extra time for new quotes and proposals

Want to get the MOST out of your day at Walt Disney World? Here’s one of my favorite Lightning Lane Multi Pass strategies! 👇

🎢 1. Book the earliest return times you can.
The sooner you use your first Lightning Lane, the sooner you can book another attraction—which gives you a better chance at snagging another high-demand ride before they’re gone.

🎟️ 2. Don’t overlook a “burner” ride.
If the only early morning return times are for lower-priority attractions, grab one! Riding (or tapping into) that attraction early unlocks your next selection sooner, helping you build a stronger lineup for the rest of the day.

✨ A little planning can mean more rides, shorter waits, and a much less stressful park day.
