We spotted this beautiful Ocellated turkey when we were leaving the Coba ruins. It’s an endemic specie to the Yucatan peninsula which we can sometimes find in our nature hikes 😍

This is the second specie we can find in the reserve on a lucky day. There are only a few families of them distributed in small groups around the 5,000 protected hectares 🍃🐒
