En la parte alta de la sierra las temperaturas pueden estar cerca de los 0°C, mientras que en el fondo del cañón llegan a sentirse más de 30°C — ¡todo en cuestión de horas y a pocos kilómetros de distancia!

Esto se debe a la impresionante diferencia de altitud entre la meseta y el fondo de los cañones, que puede superar los 1,500 metros de desnivel.
