The canyons is a fantastic destination that covers a very vast land area. Four times larger than the Grand Canyon and in parts deeper!
You could plan to do our suggested “standard recognition five night tour” or, depending on your budget and time availability, you can spend up to 10 days inside the canyons discovering interesting sites from breathtaking canyon views, waterfalls, towns, missions , caves etc
Nevertheless the five night tour is the most common and runs about $2000 dlls per person starting from El Fuerte (pueblo mágico). It includes first class train ride , transportation inside the canyons, all hotels, most meals, and most local tours. In other words , it’s almost all inclusive. (In case you are interested in a lower cost tour, We can quote a different class train, and other less costly hotels)
Due to train schedule, you would need to start your adventure arriving in El Fuerte on a Wednesday or a Friday in order to be able to take the scenic train up to the canyons the following day (you would stay at our hotel “Hotel Torres Del Fuerte”), then you will stay inside the canyons three nights , and on your way back one more night in El Fuerte.
Depending where you are currently located, you would either drive to El Fuerte or fly in to the Los Mochis International Airport, we can send a car to pick you up at the airport.
