Jerry’s diner is a throwback to the ‘50s diners. It is modeled after Jerry’s diner that appears in the movie “Back to the future “! They have all the old furniture and refrigerator that an old school diner would have, you truly travel back in time when you enter this place. The burgers are ok but I especially liked the maltas and banana split! The music was of the movie ‘Grease’ and the place is clean. Memorabilia of the movie Back to the Future hangs on the walls. Come check them out and travel back in time!!

The Augustinian Order had requested authorization for the construction of a convent in Guadalajara since 1565 from the government of Nueva Galicia, but the Franciscan Order was opposed to the idea due to the rivalries they had. After several years, Philip II of Spain authorized the construction of the convent in 1573, with the support of the President of the Royal Audience of Guadalajara Jerónimo de Orozco. This is the fifth oldest church in Guadalajara!

Parque Alcalde is an urban park in Guadalajara. Before the park existed this area was a municipal city dump. The park was inaugurated in 1961 and the architect was Alberto Ouresty. The artificial lake and the monumental fountain was inspired by the one in villa d’Este in Italy. Now the park is a family friendly place for the weekends complete with outdoor cinema on sundays!
