Holbox is magical for many reasons, but one of my favorites is the sunset on a summer day, when the clouds form like cotton candy and turn colorful as the sun sets. Definitely a spectacle I enjoy while I indulge in a peanut-flavored ice cream 🌴

What I love about living in Holbox is that you can enjoy the uncrowded, peaceful beaches. You can still lay your towel on the sand without anyone telling you it's private property.

Good morning 🌴

During these 4 years of living on this small island, I have learned to love both its paradisiacal postcards and its cloudy and windy days. I have also learned that natural paradise brings with it a bit of chaos, as perfect nature brings us rain, sargassum to renew our sand, unpaved sandy streets and free beaches to walk on. And although Holbox is growing and constantly changing, its essence still allows me to live in peace, work on what I like and best of all, witness beautiful sunsets. I once heard someone say, you either love Holbox or hate it and, I love Holbox.
