When the town festival for the arrival of the Virgin of Guadalupe was celebrated, it was held in the center of town. On the right side of the church of San Francisco de Asís the stands were built for the bullfight, since there was an open field but frequently a bull escaped and became a risk for the population. Years later the fair was relocated to "San Pool" and that place became a park.
Before there were not so many parks or green areas that the inhabitants now use. Similarly, there was no shopping center or cybercafés to connect to the Internet.
