It is located in the architectural complex of the XVI century, which meant the religious vertex of the then Nueva Galicia; Now it becomes a worthy cultural precinct that is a pioneer in the religious tourism of Nayarit and that puts Jala as a tourist attraction of the western zone of Mexico in this religious area. Space for the diffusion of art, culture and religious tourism, exhibiting art pieces, temporary exhibitions, conferences, historical galleries and samples of Art and Culture.

The “history” of the world’s largest corn 🌽is linked to the Jala breed from Jala, Nayarit, Mexico, and its Elote Fair. The enormous size of these ears is the result of a combination of natural factors (fertile volcanic 🌋soil, climate) and traditional cultivation techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation, not genetic modifications. This corn is a symbol of pride and tradition for the region, highlighting the cultural importance of corn and the preservation of native varieties.
