As we move into week 6 of remodeling and furnishing, we've completed the first floor and the king suite. Tomorrow I should wrap up the single room, queen suite and the maid's quarters (small building front left) 2 sets of sheets and towels are all washed wrapped and packed. Separate quarters can be configured with bunk beds or double bed, bringing total accommodations to 8 max. Still waiting on a part for the spa tub. We still need some small furnishings. I just need to hang some are and bolt the headboards to the wall. The security system is back online too. Just serviced the 4 older mini split air conditioners and the quarters has a new one. We're ready for rentals 10/08/21. $450/wk or $1500/mo including utilities.

Many thanks to Abel Bercovich for getting us out of the water in advance of Hurricane Nora. We still don't know how MUCH Nora will effect us here in La Paz, but I think we'll hang out until Oct and get another coat of bottom paint if Abel has room for us.

Although we can never guarantee a natural dolphin encounter, this is the ONLY way to have one.
PLEASE never attend one of the dolphin attractions. Once you have witnessed an event even close to this you would understand how criminal those attractions are.
We have the pass the boat probably 8 out of 10 days in this season. But as you can see by the ear-to-ear on the face at the end of the video, this encounter was way above average and made my day.
If you really want to experience this, drop us a note, things are getting better down here and there may yet be a future trip or two available.

1/30/21 The Government of Canada will introduce a mandatory 3-day quarantine for all passengers returning from international travel and in-airport PCR testing ON ARRIVAL along with the major Canadian airlines suspending service to Mexico and the Caribbean through April 30, 2021.
The new strains of the virus have health officials concerned and efforts are being made to discourage travel. Take a hint - stay put this year.
