Our road trip to Todos Santos, Cabo and La Paz on 24 April started with an adventure as we waited three hours on the highway for a diesel or gasoline tanker that "hit the wall" rounding a curve to burn itself out. Not sure how long the backup was. Luckily the driver was reported to be OK.

This beautiful Loreto Bay casa is perfect for honeymooners or couples who want to get away from it all and enjoy the real Mexico.

It features a spacious master suite, comfortable living area and well-stocked kitchen. Amenities include king-sized bed, sunken bathtub, private patio with fountain, rooftop terrace with built-in gas barbecue, lounge chairs, dining area and spectacular mountain views. What sets my casa apart from most of the homes in Loreto Bay is the unique light-filled floor plan. The rooftop terrace is one level higher for greater privacy and exceptional views. Located steps from the community pool and golf course; close to the sandy beach of the Sea of Cortez, perfect for snorkling and kayaking; and above the Nopolo Wine Cellar, the social center of Loreto Bay.
