Something I've been building for a long time is ready, and I want to tell you about it.

Hanal Pixán means Food for the Souls in Yucateca Maya. For more than 3,000 years, families across the Yucatán have welcomed their ancestors home each fall with marigolds, candles, and the preparation of sacred food made only for the dead. Long before any tourism found it. Long before Coco, the animation. This tradition was already ancient.
I've spent 20 years building relationships with the local families and communities who keep this alive. This journey is what those years made possible.
