Capitan Mantarraya Ocean Sports Capitan Mantarraya Ocean Sports is located in front of the beach break located by Mi Casa Su Casa Hotel in the quaint seaside town of Troncones, Mexico.

We are dedicated to teaching you ocean sports and offering professional guided tours in the Troncones & Zihuatanejo region, including surf lessons, kayak tours, sail & snorkel, archeological tours, surf guiding, paddleboard tours, & surfboard rentals. Here we offer surf lessons, surfboard rentals, surf guide services, as well as ecological and historical tours. Our tours include kayaking in the la

goon, sailing and snorkeling in the most beautiful beaches of the region, fishing & surfing boat tours, archeological and city tours. My name is Juan Manuel Suazo Perez and I am a certified federal tour guide as well as a certified lifeguard. I'm local to this region of Mexico and I've been practicing ocean sports since the age of 10. I am a professional waterman with an in-depth knowledge of ocean conditions and safety, particularly in this region of Mexico. I've won many competitions in various ocean sports over the years. I started with bodysurfing and bodyboarding, winning my first international tournament in bodysurfing in 2005. I quickly began bodyboarding competitions, winning 2 National Championships in 2011 (Ixtapa) and 2016 (San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur). I have also won 5 State Championships in bodyboarding. In addition to these sports, I also enjoy skimboarding, sailing, stand-up paddleboard, surfing, and windsurfing.

Capitan Mantarraya Ocean Sports está ubicado frente al beach break cerca al hotel Mi Casa Su Casa en el pueblo costera de Troncones, México. Aquí ofrecemos clases de surf, renta de tablas de surf, y recorridos ecológicos e históricos. Nuestros tours incluyen kayak en la laguna, snorkel en las playas más hermosas de la región, tours de pesca en lancha, y tours arqueológicos. Mi nombre es Juan Manuel Suazo Pérez y soy un guía de turista federal certificado y salvavidas. Soy local de esta región de México y tengo un conocimiento profundo de las condiciones del océano y la seguridad, particularmente en esta región de México. Empeze a practicar deportes en el mar desde los 10 años de edad~empezando con bodysurfing y bodyboarding, luego skimboarding, veleando, tabla de surf con vela, surf y tabla de remo. Todos estos deportes fuerton parte de mi vida en Playa La Ropa, en Zihuatanejo. He estado en competencias, dentro de las mas destacadas fue el bodyboard, logrando dos campionatos nacionales hasta el momento (2011 Ixtapa, y 2016 San Jose del Cabo), y 5 campionatos estatales. En 2005, logre mi primer campionato internacional de bodysurfing. Para mi, dar clases de estos deportes me hace sentir feliz~ igualmente ver a otros disfrutando y conociendo el mar, las olas y el viento.

Join us on a journey of discovery in the nearby lagoon of Lagunillas. During our paddleboat tour, we will give you an insight into the diverse world of lagoon birds and their habitat. We also observe iguanas and other animals in the trees that line the course of the river. At the coconut plantation next to the lagoon, we take a break with a fresh coconut and some fruits.
