Hi friends! Most of you know that we’ve been back stateside for 10 months or so. We loved traveling the world, but business was calling and we both crave having projects!! Ha!

Anyway…. After a brief hiatus from the event industry I’m excited to officially announce the launch of Brazen Events.

As a full-service experiential event design firm there are few things we can't do! We love to offer unique and creative solutions to your clients' event needs and can handle everything from high-end florals to custom built fabrications, graphic design, lighting and more. Proposals are often presented within 2-3 business days and last minute requests are handled with ease, as our team loves a challenge!

Sudden displays of music and color like the Danza de Indios are one of the many reasons SMA gets constantly ranked “Number 1 Small City in the World”.

Our leisurely walk accidentally put us in the middle of these vibrant performances. The streets of San Miguel de Allende were amazing displays and equally impressive sounds. To be completely honest, some of the outfits creeped us out just a bit. 😳☠️

We’ve been here since August and we still discover something new almost every day. If you find your way to SMA, reach out—we’re here until April!

Today is this guys birthday! 🎂🥳 🎉

Let’s ALL WISH the happiest of birthdays! 🕺

His one request? To spend his birthday in Germany doing ALL of the car things we can possibly do. Of course the museum is closed today. 🤬🤬🤬 so, instead we checked out the and now we’re spending the day in —and loving every single moment! ❤️❤️

Hard to believe that we’re almost 6 months in on our world travels. Time really does fly when you’re having fun. 🤷‍♀️

Perugia, 2022

After a few crazy awesome weeks we decided to chill for a bit in Perugia, Italy. An adorable town a 2.5-3 hr train ride away.

We ate and drank our way through Perugia. Our days consisted of long walks, chilly days and a few tv marathons. We needed some time to relax and that’s exactly what we did. We also failed to get very many photos this week. 🤦‍♀️

We had big plans to finish a few blog posts, but the wifi in our Airbnb] was so bad and inconsistent that we couldn’t even upload the photos or send out an email with attachments….

… Another reason why we prefer hotels, villas and resorts to inconsistent Airbnb] rentals. 🤷‍♀️

Good morning, ☀️ Praiano, Italy! 🇮🇹

It’s our first time on the Amalfi Coast and it is every bit as magical as we had imagined.

The Luxe Nomads Travel Tips: come in the off season. You can beat the heat and the crowds by coming in late April. We also HIGHLY suggest renting a villa and if you’re truly adventurous, rent a car! Just make sure your villa has parking. 😉

Hi friends! It’s about time we introduce ourselves. 👩‍❤️‍👨

We are Rayna and Joe! We met in 2013 when Joe was traveling from San Francisco to Lexington, KY and his flight got delayed (thank you 🥰).

After a whirlwind long distance romance Joe made the big move from CA to KY and the real adventure began. ❤️❤️

We both have extensive hospitality and design backgrounds, and love working together on unique projects. We are together ALL of the time!

Here are a few fun facts about us:

Joe plays multiple musical instruments (coincidence? I think not. Ha!)

We both love cars! In fact, we’ll be celebrating Joe’s birthday this year in Germany, visiting all of the museums.

Joe went to culinary school and I love to watch him cook. 🍝

We’re currently on the Amalfi Coast. 🍋🇮🇹 Our next stop? Perugia, Italy
