I chose to stay at the beautiful Volga Hotel during my vacation in Mexico City. The hotel features beautifully designed rooms, a dreamy bathroom, and a lobby that feels straight out of a design magazine. Breakfast was included and quickly became part of my daily ritual.
Add a stunning rooftop with a heated pool, plus a hidden speakeasy with DJs and amazing cocktails, and it’s officially a stay I’d book again without hesitation. It’s easy to see why they were awarded a Michelin Key.

DEADVLEI is the reason I wanted to visit Namibia. Deadvlei, once a thriving oasis, dried up centuries ago when shifting dunes blocked the Tsauchab River. The result is this striking landscape of sun-bleached clay and ancient, dead camelthorn trees. I still can’t believe I was here just a couple of weeks ago!
