Almost five years ago, the world was beginning to heal and slowly return to a new post-pandemic normal. En Route to Mexico had just been born, and in the midst of that recovery, we met Malcom and Lonnie, who gave us the opportunity to show them our favorite places of central and southern Mexico on an unforgettable two week journey!
By the end of our adventure, it felt as if we had traveled together with old friends. Time went on, and recently our paths crossed once again, but this time to visit the Monarch Butterfly sanctuaries in Valle de Bravo and Michoacán. Five years had passed, but the spark, the laughter, and the shared stories made this trip fly by.
