⚽ Soccer & Art. A Shared Emotion 🏆

A sport could just be a sport played by people when it's not meaningful for them; {{ soccer }} , found in every artwork throughout the exhibition has taken an important role in the society, but when it comes to the Mexican people and soccer, it is not just important, it goes beyond the ball, the score, the stands, and the stadium; it's identity, it's fight, it's critique, it's passion, it's a gathering with friends or family, it is a way of living for many.

The one and only is showcasing 70 talented modern and contemporary artists that have reinterpreted soccer from their points of view: their lives, their hometowns, and even their gender and sexuality, as soccer has always been considered a "male" sport.

🏟️ Today, soccer is a very important and inherent part of the Mexican people, and, regarding the World Cup, the JUMEX Museum has put together this amazing journey through art and its relation to soccer that you should definitely see.

🦅 So coooooool was this experience!

Thanks to this amazing team from Nike to join our Hidden Face of Mexico City Experience and let themselves be involved in the brush of artists that have colored streets in Mexico and the world and be inspired by their art.

🚇 We curated this walking experience some months ago with the desire of showing a less famous and touristy face of the city we were born, raised and still live in; it is artsy, colorful and tasty, going from the outmost trendy area to a very local neighborhood, stopping at a taqueria for a break and relax, which is something we love doing.
