Our approach of guiding you through the city, is one where you get a multilayered perspective of the culture of Mexico City, through an informed, dynamic, energetic and fun yet deep and meaningful experience as we walk around different areas of this concrete jungle. We can go to see Aztec archeological remains as we walk past a XVII century palace located in Madero, one of the most touristic streets of the city center, or for a coffee or a Mezcal in the trendiest Roma neighborhood spots while we explore the art galleries, vinyl record stores, and art nouveau buildings of one of the architectural treasures in of the must entertaining and vivid neighborhoods of the city. The possibilities are vast and we are here to explore them. In our tours you will see, feel, hear and taste what this exciting city has to offer with the guidance and perspective of an urban enthusiast, whose background on education and cultural heritage studies will make an alternative spin of the typical tour around the city and will lead you to discover one of the greatest cities of the world.

On the winter solstice of the northern hemisphere (Christmas), the aztecs celebrated the birth of Huitzilopochtli, the hummingbird from the south, the younger sun, their patron deity. After its birth the child warrior begins its journey through 'Mictlán' (place of the dead) to be reborn on the shape of a hummingbird. To celebrate, people from Tenochtitlán made human shape figures of blue corn and hanged flags and color papers to trees, and food was shared and given as offers to nature.
