My first ever Peninsula stay was in Manhattan with my mother, I was about 14? I remember walking in and feeling so special, so elegant. What can I say? I’m a sucker for the exquisite.
Since then, thanks to the perks of the business, I have been able to stay through Paris, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Beverly Hills and hopefully more to come.
They are all timeless! That being said, NY just had full makeover 2 years ago. Tokyo is starting floor by floor this year and Hong Kong is about to celebrate 100 years.
The New kid is LONDON. Right on the corners of Belgravia, Mayfair and Knightsbridge. The building took 30 years of scouting, 12 years to build and now open.
We learned so much at this breakfast and meeting the team was priceless! Mainly all hotels have wonderful rooftops with cigar lounges. Countless Michelin Stars. House Rolls Royce. House Yachts. House Helicopters BUT Having their contact straight on WhatsApp is a perk you can’t get anywhere else.
