【500 Nanbu-Furin Instruments】
Do you know what Furin instrument is? It shows up just in the summer such as air conditioner. In old days of Japan when we hadn't had the technology like air conditioner yet, we were always looking for something alternative to get cool and that was this Furin instrument. Furin rings in the wind. When it rings, there must be wind coming. So we could feel wind more psychologically. That way Furin shows up just in the summer.
In Kiyomizu-dera, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Kyoto, every August 500 of them shows up. It was started 10 years ago and now in order to pray for raising Japan up from the huge damage of the 2011 earthquake.So look at the strips hanging on where the wishes are written.

From this year 2020 the first week of April in Kyoto. All the Cherry blossoms fully bloomed then. Look at the flowers were blown off in the wind. Gion Shirakawa/祗園白川 is the best to visit for them.

What a incredible standing pub😳 This is very local that everyone would talk to you. This is not just a Japanese pub but what's so unique is this is also a liquor store to buy drinks. So their style is you take whatever you want to drink from the fridges and when you go home, you tell what you eat and drink and pay for that. What's more is they never count or check how many and what you drink so very much trust-based so I forget most of times then I would pay more just in case haha.
