Home to one of the largest seal colonies in the world.

At peak season, Cape Cross is home to up to 200,000 Cape fur seals.

The constant noise comes from mothers calling pups, pups calling mothers, and males defending territory. It’s not aggressive — it’s communication.

The endless tunnel of thousands of Tori gates. Each gate is donated by an individual or company as a thank-you

They carry names and dates.

Look closely at the back of a gate and you’ll see the donor’s name and the date of dedication—proof that wishes were made, answered, or still hoped for.

There’s this quote that relates to me at this point in my life: “It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop.”

We live in a such fast world —fast results, instant success. But some of the most meaningful things in life—healing, growth, building something real, finding your purpose—take time.

Recently I felt so disappointed and useless. I felt like I did so many things but didn’t move. I felt that with this busyness I should be in a different state in my life.

And I keep saying to myself that moving slowly doesn’t mean you’re lost. It doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re being intentional. You’re going with own rhythm, not someone else’s timeline.

Whether you’re building a business, learning a new skill, or simply trying to get through a tough time—keep going. Even if steps are tiny. You’re still moving. And that matters more than you think.
