I loved the Eclipse last week so much, that I am planning a trip to see the Eclipse of the Century in Egypt in August 2027! 😎 Pyramids, the new Grand Egyptian Museum, Luxor, Karnak, and Valley of Kings and Queens. And of course, the longest (6+ minutes) total solar eclipse for the next 100 years. (possible short Kenya safari add-on in the works too). I am planning it as a family-friendly option (I am taking the family for sure to this one!), and trying to keep it affordable. I know it is still far, but if you are interested, let me know, so I can keep you informed.

Anybody would like to search for incredible wildlife in the Sahara desert with me this July? (In other words: is anybody interested in how it feels to look for cool critters inside of an oven?) 🤣🤣🤣

I have a confirmed trip to Morocco this year, which will concentrate 100% on the wildlife of the Sahara. Target #1 is the Fennec fox, and Target #2 is the Desert horned viper. Will we stop there? Of course not! There are high probabilities for the following species: Sand cat, Caracal, Desert monitor, Sahara sand viper, Pharaoh Eagle-owl, Spiny-tailed lizards, and many more... I dreamt about this trip in 2023, so making it happen in 2024. Anybody interested? :P

I am planning to spend a few days in the Sahara next July in Morocco. It is a personal dream for me to see and photograph fennec foxes, so I am going even if I am alone... 😇 And if I am already there, will look for horned vipers, and all kind of animals found in the desert. A new habitat to properly explore. Max one week, low budget trip. Ideal from Europe. But only for serious people as the 50 degrees Celsius daytime temperatures will make the trip one to remember (if we survive it... 🤣).

I just found some screen grabs from our last Socorro diving trip. Tiger shark and humpback bonanza on top of the usual manta rays and shark species... Will share some decent photos of Socorro later. I am off to Cocos in a few days (life is hard, I know), so will be mostly offline, but drop me a message if Socorro next February sounds interesting! I answer once I am back... 😎
