Welcome, Ayodya Resort Bali, to the Regenera Luxury Awards 2026!

Set along Nusa Dua’s coastline facing the Indian Ocean, Ayodya Resort Bali built its identity as the “Kingdom of Hospitality” — a beachfront resort that blends Balinese regal grace with the warmth of Nusa Dua’s own community. Balinese culture runs through the property beyond aesthetics: a traditional Bale Banjar cultural hub and an open-air Balinese Theater keep the island’s heritage and classical dance performances genuinely alive for guests.

That same spirit of giving back extends into the resort’s CSR work — a partnership with Bali WISE, an educational skills center focused on Bali’s hospitality industry, and collaboration with Mohiya to support underprivileged children and promote sustainability. Recent outreach has taken the resort’s team into the Tabanan area to support Yayasan Gayatri Widya Mandala and SOS Children’s Village Bali, extending hospitality well past the property line.

Regenerative luxury isn’t only about untouched jungle or ancient forest — it can also mean how a resort chooses to build and operate. Papagayo Beach Resort opted for low-density private villas instead of dense hotel blocks, keeping gardens and open coastline along Jan Thiel intact rather than maximizing room count.
The same approach applies to staffing: the majority of the team is hired locally, tying the resort’s growth directly to Curaçao’s economy and community. Regeneration here comes down to a series of deliberate choices — in design, in hiring, in how the resort relates to the island it operates on.

Myriam is French and lives on the beautiful island of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean, one of Africa’s most renowned tourist destinations.

After studying business administration with an international focus, she has three years of experience in the hotel industry in Tanzania.

Passionate about travel, hospitality, and environmental sustainability, she immediately connected with Regenera Luxury’s values ​​and approach, which are tailored to the needs of hotels throughout Tanzania. Myriam is excited to begin this new chapter and support the implementation of more respectful and regenerative luxury tourism.
