🌴 JUST BOOKED — RIVIERA MAYA! 🇲🇽

Another trip booked for a repeat client 🥰 This family is heading back to Mexico, this time to Sandos Caracol Nature Resort & Water Park!

They loved the jungle and wildlife experience at Iberostar Tucán last year, so Sandos Caracol is such a fun next choice — cenotes, wildlife, nature trails, a huge water park and lots to keep the kids busy. 🌿🐒💦

And even better… they’ll be celebrating a birthday in Mexico! 🎂🌴

Apparently when Iberostar invites you to Mexico… they REALLY show you Iberostar. 😂🇲🇽🌴

I just received the itinerary for my Travel Advisor FAM next week and I’m going to be seeing a whole lot more than I expected!

I’ll be staying at Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach and Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya Suites, PLUS touring Lindo, JOIA Paraíso, Selection Riviera Cancún, Selection Cancún and Coral Level. 🤯

We’ll be doing resort tours, experiencing the restaurants, learning about the different Iberostar brands and getting some destination wedding training too! 💍🌴

I’m especially excited to see the different room categories, beaches, pools, kids & teen areas and wedding options firsthand — all the things that are so hard to really understand from photos online.

And because apparently I don’t know when to stop… I’m finishing the trip with a stay at the Barceló Maya complex too. 😂

🥹 Messages like this absolutely make my day.

This client had never used a travel advisor before, and this morning she sent me this. ❤️

Her trip has been a perfect example of why my job goes so far beyond simply booking a vacation.

We’ve worked through finding the right resort for a multi-generational family trip, coordinating special medical equipment for travel, submitting medical documentation to the airline, arranging airport assistance, looking into equipment rentals at destination, and making sure Grandma can travel as comfortably as possible.

These are the things you don’t necessarily think about when you click “book” until you need them.

And being the person my clients can message instead of trying to figure it all out themselves? That’s one of my favourite parts of what I do. ❤️✈️

Apparently I’m also booked for the next 20 years 😂

✨ Why “Kids Stay FREE” isn’t always the best deal…

I know. FREE sounds pretty hard to beat. 😂

But when I’m pricing family vacations, I don’t just look for resorts advertising Kids Stay Free — I look at the total cost for your whole family.

Why?

🏨 “Free” may only apply to the hotel portion
✈️ Kids still need flights (and taxes!)
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Some resorts have much better child pricing even without a Kids Stay Free promo
📅 The offer may only apply to certain dates, ages or room categories
💰 And sometimes a resort with NO “kids free” promotion ends up hundreds — or even thousands — less overall.

This is exactly why I compare the full package price, not just the promotion attached to it.

Because the best deal isn’t necessarily the one with the biggest FREE sticker on it. 😉

Starting November 30, Tim Hortons coffee will be served onboard WestJet flights — including a new “Flight Roast” made specifically to taste good at 35,000 feet.

BUT this is the part I’m most excited about 👀👇

In 2027, you’ll be able to link your Tims Rewards + WestJet Rewards accounts and earn WestJet points on eligible Tim Hortons purchases.
